Community is at the heart of everything we do at Springfield RFS. We’re a brigade made up of locals who volunteer their time to protect and support others — not just during fire season, but all year round.
Our members come from all walks of life. Some are on the trucks, others lend a hand behind the scenes. Whether it’s helping at incidents, maintaining equipment, managing radios, or flipping sausages at fundraisers, there’s a role for everyone — and we’re always happy to welcome new people into the team.

Join Us for Bonfire Night – 5 July
You’re warmly invited to our Community Bonfire Night on Friday 5 July from 5pm at the Spring Range Fire Shed. It’s open to everyone, with a big fire, good food and a great chance to connect with local faces.
And if you’re planning your own burn this winter, don’t forget to notify the RFS. It’s quick, easy online and helps avoid unnecessary callouts.
